Charlotte Harbor

If you love the feeling of a fish on the line or just have a love for water
then the Punta Gorda & Port Charlotte area is the place for you.
There are many places we like to  go fishing but for some reason the Charlotte Harbor area is my favorite. Whether it's near the Myakka River cut, the East Wall (Placida) or near Burnt Store - It's so beautiful at any time of day as well as sunset. It's also a really nice place to relax, take pictures and just enjoy the quietness away from busy life...
Snook, Red Fish and Snapper are what we mainly catch here
but we have caught many other fish as well.

Looking For a Realtor?

Looking to buy a home in the

Punta Gorda area?

I know one of the most personable and knowledgeable
Realtor's in the area.
He is, and you guessed it - my wonderful husband.

His Great grandfather was one of the original residents of Charlotte Harbor
in the early 1900's. They have grown up loving the area and the
Gulf waters here.
Denny is a fifth generation Floridian as well as an avid boater & fisherman
He knows the area and the waterways very well
Whether you are looking to relocate to this quaint beautiful waterfront area
or buy a second home; you can start right here...

Peace River

Charlotte Harbor's ~ Peace River Can Be Enchantingly Mesmerizing. Being On The Gulf Is So Relaxing That You Tend To Lose Track Of Time ~ It’s Almost Like Being In Another World All Together; Where Everything Tends To Melt Away. Just Don’t Forget The Sunscreen As I Often Do…
(Ouch)!

Gilchrist Park in Punta Gorda, Florida

A Short Walk From Fisherman’s Village Is Gilchrist Park This Park Has Always Provided A Warm Welcome To All Generations. Totally Redone A Few Of Years Ago… This Park Has So Much To Offer From The Nice Huge Sidewalk For Brisk Walks Through The Park , Bike Riding, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Open Area For A Friendly Game Of Football, A Pier For Salt Water Fishing,  Children’s  Playground And A Beautiful Gazebo For Pictures Or A Gorgeous Waterfront Wedding.

I Can Remember Going To This Very Park As A Child As We Would Play My Mother Would Sit By The Water’s Edge And Relax, As We Would Climb The Huge Oak Tree In The Middle Of The Playground. This Tree Makes A Great Place To Take Beautiful Pictures.

Ponce De Leon Park

This Beautiful Sight Is Taken At Ponce De Leon Park Over The Gulf Waters Where People Gather Nightly To Watch The Sunset. This Area Is Almost As Though You Are Stepping Back In Time.  There Is A Nature Walk Where You Can See Many Species Of Birds Among Other Wild Life. They Even Have A Preserve Where They Rescue Wild Animals And Nurse Them Back To Health.  There Is A Public Boat Ramp With Easy Access In And Out Of The Water And A Pier That Almost Always Has A Couple Of Local Fishermen. This Park Has Large Pavilions Were You Can Have A Nice Size Gathering.  There Is A Small Beach Area To Enjoy The Beautiful Water And The Sunsets Are Incredibly Dreamlike.

This I have to say is one of my most favorite Beaches to go. Stump pass is an amazing place with the clear calm water on one side of the pass and the beautiful gulf beach on the other. The best part… the farther you walk down the more isolated it gets.
